Frequently asked questions
How do I convert WebP to PNG?
Choose your .webp file, select PNG as the output, and click Convert. Sites often serve WebP images that older software can't open — PNG works everywhere.
Can I convert AVIF images?
Yes — modern browsers can read AVIF, so AVIF to PNG or JPG works here. Converting TO AVIF isn't supported by browsers yet; use our JPG to AVIF tool for that.
PNG or JPG — which should I choose?
JPG for photographs (much smaller files); PNG for screenshots, logos, graphics, or anything needing transparency.
Does converting lose quality?
PNG output is lossless. JPG output is saved at 92% quality — visually identical for almost all uses.
