Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between Title Case and Sentence case?

Title Case capitalises the first letter of every word ('The Quick Brown Fox'); Sentence case capitalises only the first word of each sentence ('The quick brown fox').

How do I fix text typed in all caps?

Paste it, click Sentence case, and it converts to normal capitalisation with each sentence starting with a capital letter. Proper nouns will need manual re-capitalising.

Should headings use Title Case or Sentence case?

UK style (BBC, GOV.UK, most British publishers) prefers sentence case for headings; US publications lean toward Title Case. Pick one and be consistent.

Is my text stored?

No — conversion happens entirely in your browser and nothing is transmitted or saved.
